These rules are essential to ensure visual and brand consistency, helping us present a unified image to our customers. Please follow these guidelines carefully to align with our brand standards.

Business names

Consistent use of the company logo and business name across applications ensures good visibility for both, and a uniform visual appearance. The typeface for the UPM Business name is Mona Sans SemiBold, with adjusted space for the best visual reception. All names are designed with the same height, letter spacing and styling. How to use: First, position the UPM logo in the desired format. Then, set the UPM Business name using the height of the UPM logo’s initialism* (i.e. the height of the letters "UPM" in the logo). The UPM Business name is always placed in the bottom left corner. Always use the original image with UPM Business name rather than typesetting. Product names

UPM’s product offering contains a number of products which are branded with unique and descriptive names. Please follow these basic instructions on how to write down your product name to ensure consistency with the brand, UPM Business names and other typographic elements.

The product name consists of two parts: the UPM brand name (written in Mona Sans SemiBold), followed by the product name (written in Mona Sans Regular). If the registered trademark symbol (™, ®) is needed, choose it from the Mona Sans glyphs and then set it as a superscript. For product property abbreviations (such as FR=Fire Retardant, BT=Biocide Treated and MBT=Moisture Barrier Technology) use superscript.
